If you decide that the world just has too many things you want; and you go after satan's ways and choose to serve his and the worlds ways, and seek it to serve your needs:
The world can give you all things you want. But lo, beware, it will indeed also serve up all things it, satan, and hell have to offer. You may choose your own vices but the price is the same, no matter how harmless you think the vice is. And the price is your soul, And that is the great deceit. Once satan owns you he will eventually require all vices of you. And if you refuse he will send demons to possess and do his will with your body, which is now his by the contract you made with him. Yes the contract is the same for even the littlest of sins, regardless of what he led you to believe the deal was. For even the littlest of sins is a trojan horse, a trick, a deceit. For all sin is sin and travels together, and is delivered together. When you take one part of satan you take all of satan. For his pinky is as poisoness as his whole arm. There is no safe part or portion of sin that can be consumed or associated with. If you eat part, you eat all. If you are exposed to part, you are exposed to all of it. satan is the same at a glimpse from a distance, as he is face to face sitting in his lap. Pure evil. Pure poison. No matter how he flavors it for you, or hides it from you.

When things aren't panning out the way we planned and if we are not willing to say 'ok I took the wrong path', we weaken in faith and start to think God doesn't love us. We have to be willing to change paths and adjust, and careful not to get upset and give up; thinking we were denied by God. We can get caught in worldly worries and wonder 'why isn't it working for me'. Sometimes we seek riches for the wrong purpose; we want or ask for things that are out of the will of God.


When you ask God for something that is in His will, He will give it to you. But often not until you are ready for it. It will come in His timeline, and not your timeline. We have to be careful not to expect it when or how we see it. You have to be willing to wait for it or the anxiety will build and tear you apart.
